Back to Tennessee

We picked Lindsay up from the airport
on Thursday and then Sunday morning we
headed to Tennessee.
Going through our second state.

We missed the Nebraska sign
but this is how we all felt
as we drove through that
long state.

Our 4th state to travel through.

Makayla and her doll in
our 5th state.
We stopped in Metropolis, Illinois
for a photo with Superman. Almost there!!!

We made it!!!!

We are home.

Mom and Dad

Mom and Dad thank you
so much for putting
up with me and my kids
and my dogs.
We love you guys lots.
Come visit soon!!!

Daniel's preschool graduation

Daniel had a great graduation. Mrs. Clark is the best. Daniel loves her so much.

I am amazed at how much he learned from her. She made learning really fun.
Danny I love you so much. You are my little guy no more baby. Congradulations!!!

Spending time with Grandma and Grandpa

We spent a few days with Grandma and Grandpa. I am always amazed at how calm and quiet their back yard is. It is always so peaceful.

Cameron has loved this tree forever. Makayla climbed up there too. I remember how little it was when Grandma planted it. Boy time goes by quickly

They took us to their ward barbaque. Grandpa cooked the hotdogs. They were delicious.

OUR DAY OUT WITH THE NEIGHBORS

It was a really rainy day, but first we went to Pioneer
Park and met up with Elaine, Matt and their kids. Uncle
Jed bought our house and he and Desi also got our Cub
Scout calling in the ward. So Cole sold us a Scout A Rama
ticket and there he is picture with our Uncle Jed and Michelle
Russon teaching us how to use a compass.

We also did lots of fun stuff. Hammering nails into
a magic money board. And building paper airplanes.
Throwing bean bags into the holes. And Cole made
a paper rocket that really shot into the air a few feet.

We stood in a really long line for the kids to make
a piece of rope.

Here is Cole and Matt with his paper rocket.

I think the best part was having every one make

their own piece of robe.

Even Daniel was able to do each step.

He can't wait to be a true Cub scouter.

Since it was so rainy, they stopped the Scout A Rama
early, so it had been a while since we visited the aquarium.
So I took six kids by myself to South Salt Lake. They had added
a new exhibit called The Amazon. We saw Electric fish, and huge
spiders with webs and a turtle that looked like a dinosaur turtle.

The kids loved petting the bat rays.
Madison, Cole and Seth had never done that,
so they were a little worried at first, but after we
showed them they did it also.

The ocean life is so beautiful and wonderous. We just love
to visit the aquarium.

We sure enjoyed being with our friends all day. We
still didn't want to say goodbye. Cameron would
rather play with Seth and Cole then do anything else.

After his make up Cameron was
really feeling like a Cheetah. His class
did their opera for the school and then
for the parents in the evening. They work
with the Utah Opera and the kids actually do
it all. They come up with the story and then sing
the story and a professional then takes the recording
of them singing and make music notes to it.
Their opera this year was called Dirty water, Clean water.

Cameron's fellow cheetah's working on their cheetah roars
Cameron's whole 1st grade class before they went on stage.
