Mom and I in Memphis Tennessee

Mom and I drove down to Memphis to go to Graceland. We stopped by the Memphis temple first. It looks just like our Nashville temple. We had a great two days together. It was fun to see all the Elvis stuff.

This is Elvis's Mansion. It was really nice and fun to see. He sure has a lot of cars he collected over the years.

Finished my curtains

While my Mom was out here, I had her help me finish my lighthouse curtains that she helped me get started back in October. We hung them in our family room.
We also made a valance for Cameron's room. We still have to make some for the front room, so I will have to send a picture of those later.

Happy Memorial Day

We are so thankful for all the Men and Women and families who have sacraficed so much for our freedoms. We went to a Civil war cementary in Franklin TN to pay respects to some of the Men and women who served our country

Went to Nashville sounds

We all went to the Nashville sounds baseball game. And our family was picked to play a sponsor game during the 6th inning. As a family we each had huge bean bags that looked like Kraft American cheese and we through them onto a huge grill. We lost to another family. But it was a lot of fun.

Papa brought Rue's family to visit us

Papa drove all the way across the country with Rue's family. It had been a year since we saw Owen and Kolby. Kolby was just a baby and now he toddles around so cute.

Makayla loved them, and they loved her to do things with. We went down to the center of Franklin. They are getting the flood all cleaned up. There was quite a lot of stores open. We even were able to take them on the Pedestrian bridge half way. It was nice.
It was Makayla and Cameron's first time on the Opry stage. Cameron really liked playing the guitar. He really wants to play one some day.
