Well when we got home our yard looked awfulLindsay hasn't been home most of the time
when we were in Utah. So the first thing we did was buy a lawn mower.
It took 2 full hard and HOT days to get it done.
Amazingly we found a turtle when Lindsay ran it over with the lawn mower. The kids were so excited to
keep it for a pet.
They named him Franklinbecause we live close to Franklin, TN
and the books about the turtle Franklin.
They were sad to learn that it is against the law to keep turtles as pets.Over the next day we found a total of four turtles and one lizard.
So we collected the turtles and took them to a field with trees and grass,where they would be safe. The kids cried over saying good bye to Franklin.
Then after we all got showered and cleaned up. I had 3 ticks on me.
I was able to get them out of my skin, but needless to say I am terrified of the out doors
and I feel things crawling on me all day. But we have sprayed and I have marked on the calendar every four weeks to spray again.
