Our library has a special dog named Maxine who comes once a month to listen to kids read. Makayla did the reading, but we all enjoyed the dog. She was so soft and loveable. Just like our Sadie that we love so much. Makayla has been reading alot of books this summer. She is currently reading Henry Huggins, by Beverly Cleary.
The chapter that she read was when Henry was trying out his friends football and accidently threw it into the back window of a moving car. The driver had no idea it had happend.
