Pioneer day with the Franklin, TN stake primary

Makayla and I wore aprons to look
like pioneer girls. The pink apron my Grandma Larsen gave me.
The stake primary put a really nice day together for us. We learned different pioneer games, and chores that the pioneers did. We got to use our muscles with the tug a war and hammering nails. We were busy as we picked apples and collected eggs, milked the cow and dug up potatoes. They really made the day wonderful and at the end each kid was given a horse shoe nail shaped into a ring.
We shook the milk and turned it into butter for our bread.

The boys made paper vests and Kayla made a paper bonnet.

Eating our delicious butter and bread.

  1. Loved your new posts! The kids loved the pictures and such. We have something we're going to send on Monday. I'm glad you could celebrate the 24th! That looked fun.
